Clinical Supervision

An important professional calling that I have is to help advance the field of Marriage and Family Therapy.

One route to fulfilling this calling is to provide clinical supervision for beginning therapists who are seeking independent licensure. I am an approved supervisor through the state of Kansas to work with T-LMFT/LMFTs. Every new therapist needs accurate reflection, feedback, and support on their journey.

Supervision with me can assist in:

  • Refining clinical skills

  • Supporting you through clinical challenges

  • Addressing multicultural opportunities

  • Processing person of the therapist issues

  • Building confidence in who you are as a therapist

  • Creating and maintaining a self care routine to prevent burn out

Through my time as a therapist I have gained experience in many areas that supervisees can benefit from.

I started my career as a therapist in community mental health and worked in that system for 6 years. While there, I gained knowledge of managing a large, high needs caseload. I also worked with a large variety of diagnoses and client systems. During my time at the community mental health center I continued my training in the following areas: play therapy, EMDR, Theraplay, and TF-CBT. All of my experience and training from this time in my career impacts how I supervise.

I now own my own private practice and have worked to focus on my clinical interests. I enjoy working with family systems, adolescents, and trauma.

As a supervisor I am genuinely myself; I will bring humor, compassion, and directness to our time together. I would love to connect with you if I seem like a good fit for your clinical supervision needs.

Fees & Information:

60-minute supervision session is $150.

However, I am understanding that some beginning therapists will be unable to afford that fee. I offer a sliding fee scale if you feel you would be unable to pay the full fee. Please do not hesitate to ask me about this scale.

Group supervision fee is $150 for 60-minute sessions that will be divided amongst the group members.
